Notice

What is a notice in the context of public procurement?

A notice informs the public about a new tender and invites them to submit bids. From this time, interested companies are able to request or download tender documents. A notice must contain key information, as well as the subject of the contract, type of procedure and deadlines, so that potential bidders can decide whether they want to participate in the tendering procedure. The medium used for the notice depends on whether the threshold value is exceeded or not. When the threshold values are exceeded, the notice must be submitted via the SIMAP notice platform. If the contract value falls below the threshold, the notices must be published on Bund.de.
