What is meant by award criteria?
Award criteria allows a more objective assesment of bids and refer to the subject of the contract. The bids are compared using the assessment criteria and a decision is made as to which bidder gets the contract. The contract is to be granted to the party who has submitted the most economical bid or who best meets the award criteria.
