What are quality marks?
Quality marks are inter-company quality-policy markers, which signal a certain grade and quality of the offer to the client. They are awarded by recognized institutions to manufacturers and service providers who fulfill the respective quality and testing regulations.
Public clients can demand quality marks to demonstrate that the contractor complies with the required environmental and social standards and that a supply or service meets certain characteristics required in the tender specifications.
“Quality label” is often used synonymously with “quality mark”.
